CONTEXT
Insurance company ranked among the three best companies of its vertical in Portugal, present in 50 countries and with more than 75 thousand employees. To date, this client has saved more than 70 thousand hours (in FTE) and executed more than 270 thousand processes.
In 2021 this company presented a net income of over 54.1 million Euros.
PROCESS
Being a large insurance company, the departments initially chosen were the claims and operations areas, with the automation of about five processes for each department in the initial project.
Today, the organization already has automated processes in other major business areas, namely in the Financial, Accounting, Marketing, and Customer Care, among other departments.
CHALLENGE
The initial goal of this customer and the challenge it launched to ARPA, was immediately differentiated, in addition to the concern to optimize the organization’s processes so that it was possible to release resources from routine tasks to other more important tasks (where there was a shortage of resources), there was the concern that these automated processes could be managed in a centralized platform that would allow a simpler workflow for users between the various systems of the organization. This, through the use of the iMaestro tool.
SOLUTION
Due to their large resource demands, the initially implemented solutions started with two large departments and with high volume record processes. The initial goal was to see results quickly in order to drive the use of technology across the organization, which has been happening since 2018.
